» Strengths
 
Bank Assurance InBroker® has been especially designed for mass insurance management integration to banks and financial entities’ host system, both for customer databases access and accounts, credit cards and loans databases.
 
It includes a number of modules which have been especially designed for the administration of the personal lines insurance sale business (Home, Automobile and Life) and credit-related operations (pledge insurance and life insurance).
 
It allows for the quoting, issuance, endorsing, payment and management of home, fire, automobile, life and accidents policies, plus retirement and health insurance, among others, and it uses the same technology as InBroker’s version for insurance brokers.
 
The system has a comprehensive insurance quoting engine, which allows for the configuration of different insurance companies’ products, storing their prime calculation regulations and their business regulations. It further allows the bank to offer and manage any insurance product from many insurance companies with one system at the same time, thus offering an array of different insurance options for its customers.
 
It also allows for post-sale management through the generation of endorsements, claim management and other online operations and policy-related information checking in relation to policies.
 
 
» InBroker Branch Module
 
This module has been especially designed for bank branches. It allows for the possibility of issuing insurance policies and checking their status.
 
This module has been designed so that it may operate practically from any PC (i.e., Windows 95 with 64MB), since it does not require complex specifications. Besides, it does not consume much bandwidth, which is fundamental for a bank branch operation and its interaction from the bank business platform system through its integration to the business options menu as one more product of the bank.
 
Once the sale has been made, Inbroker Branch allows for the issuance and printing of the policy (depending on the agreement that the bank may have entered with the insurance company) or print a coverage certificate so that the policy may be sent at a later time, once it has been issued by the insurance company.
 
 
» EDISEG and B2B (Business to Business) Interfaces Module
 
Once the sale has been confirmed from InBroker® Branch and the policy has been stored in the system’s main database, InBroker® may electronically send all policy-related data to the insurance company through the EDISEG module (in the form of a batch) or through ONLINE B2B (Business to Business), allowing for the automation of the work flow necessary for the issuance of policies at the insurance company, thus reducing issuance costs drastically and preventing errors. B2B will also allow for online approval for policies issuance at the point of sale of the bank branch (if the insurance company’s technology allows for it).
InBroker® also allows for the electronic reception of policies issued by the insurance company, automating their internal control and billing process.
 
 
» Customer Care Module
 
Aside from the automated sale management, InBroker has a customer care module that allows for the registration of all customer insurance-related claims or orders, and the management of policy changes requests (Endorsements). This module may be connected to the CRM system of the related bank.
 
 
» Telemarketing Point of Sale Module
 
InBroker® also has two insurance quotes and sale modules for call centers called InBroker Point of Sale and Inbroker Web Point of Sale.
 
This module allows for insurance sale directly through the bank’s e-commerce platform, allowing the customer to quote and request insurances in the same way as with other Inbroker’s modules.
 
 
» E-commerce Insurance Point of Sale and Sale Module from Home Banking.
 
InBroker Web Point of Sale is also integrated to the bank’s Home Banking portal, which allows customers to quote, purchase, print their certificates, check their policies, see payment status, check their claims status or make claims and follow their insurance claims from Internet.
Inbroker Web Point of Sale may be fully configured in order to meet the bank’s portal needs, restrictions and look and feel.
